A couple of weeks ago I went to see Star Wars Episode 3. I found it entertaining, but like many other “critics” a bit heavy on the CG and low on story side of things compared to the previous movies. On the other hand, who needs a story if you have Ewan McGregor and Yoda to beat the crap out of every bad guy in sight!
The funniest thing about the movie is the way it has influenced me and some of my friends sense of humour over the past 2 weeks. What I mean is that whenever we try to be funny, all we have to do is say something in “Yoda-speak”. Recently me and 2 colleagues have helplessly fallen into a hilarious session of Yoda-speak at least once a day. Or rather… Fallen into a hilarious session of Yoda-speak at least once a day, we have!
So compile a list of some useful phrases, I have here.
1. Bring me a cup of coffee, 2 milks, 2 sugars I will take!
2. Drink it black, I will not!
3. The hour of departure is upon us, 5o’clock it is!
4. Do it… you must! Do it… you will!
Now add your funniest Yoda phrases… you must! And build a new Yoda-Dictionary, we will.
