It’s 17:02 on a Friday afternoon and I’m about to leave the office. I think it’s just about the right time for a few cold beers with some friends!

Made in Australia
One day last week I found myself in Spiga [1] to buy a drink. I was going to buy a Coke when a bottle with a Kangaroo on the label caught my eye. On closer inspection I saw it was a bottle of Bundaberg Ginger Beer imported from Australia. Seeing as my friend Rian currently lives in Australia I thought I’d give it a try. This turned out to be a good decision… the stuff inside the bottle was excellent! It’s probably the most refreshing drink I’ve had in a long time.
In Rian’s words… “Bundaberg Ginger Beer is awesome!” Apparently the label is different in Australia though, there it has a little man with some beer barrels on the label. I guess the Kangaroo is a better choice from of a marketing viewpoint when selling the stuff outside of Australia.
